In januari 1957 is de Stichting Paul Nijgh-penning opgericht met het doel Rotterdammers te onderscheiden die zich beroepsmatig of als vrijwilliger bijzonder verdienstelijk hebben gemaakt op sociaal-cultureel gebied. Hoog reliëf (dikte penning ~25 mm.). Dit exemplaar is op 9 oktober 1997 toegekend aan drs Hans H. Horsting. Verpakking: In originele houten doos.
